Chance Herron

Chance Herron was involved with Buffs for Christ as a student from 2014 to 2017. After earning his B.S. in Agricultural Education, he spent four years serving in various youth ministry roles before returning to BFC in the fall of 2021. That same year, he married his wife, Kara. Chance completed his M.A. in Christian Ministry from Lubbock Christian University in the spring of 2024.

His favorite thing about Buffs for Christ is building relationships and getting to know the students.

Chance’s favorite Bible verse is Micah 6:6–8:
"With what shall I come to the Lord
And bow myself before the God on high?
Shall I come to Him with burnt offerings,
With yearling calves?
Does the Lord take delight in thousands of rams,
In ten thousand rivers of oil?
Shall I present my firstborn for my rebellious acts,
The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
He has told you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justice, to love kindness,
And to walk humbly with your God?"

Tori has been working at BFC for 3 years.
Tori’s favorite thing about BFC is working in a Christ-Centered environment.
Her favorite bible verse is Ephesians 2:4-5

"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved"
