    Chance Herron

    Director/Campus Minister

    Chance Herron graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2017 with a B.S. in Agricultural Education. During his time at WT, he was actively involved in Buffs for Christ and served as a student intern during the 2016–2017 school year.

    Following graduation, Chance served in various ministry roles before returning to Canyon in 2021 to join Buffs for Christ as Associate Minister. In 2022, he stepped into the role of Director and later completed an M.A. in Christian Ministry from Lubbock Christian University in 2024.

    Chance is supported in ministry by his wife, Kara, and their daughter, Evelyn.

    Greyson Pelsor

    Student Intern

    Greyson is a junior Accounting major from Lubbock Texas. After graduation he plans to pursue a career in accounting while working towards a CPA. His favorite verse is Psalm chapter 1

    Emma Stevenson

    Student Intern

    Emma is a junior Agricultural Business and Economics major from Earth, Texas. After graduation, Emma plans to either pursue a master’s degree or begin a career in the agricultural business industry. Her favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 5:21.

    Austin McFarland

    Summer Assistant (2026)

    Austin McFarland is a Sports and Exercise Science major from Miles, Texas. After graduation, he hopes to teach and coach football and golf at the high school level. His favorite verse is Matthew 16:24–28.
