Bible Study & Worship at Buffs for Christ

Looking for a Bible study or Christian community at West Texas A&M University? Buffs for Christ offers several opportunities throughout the week for WTAMU students to study the Bible, worship together, build Christian friendships, and grow in their faith.

Weekly Events

  • Join us every Monday at 8:00 PM for a student-led time of worship, fellowship, and encouragement as we come together to praise God and grow in faith.

  • Join us every Wednesday at 6:00 PM for a FREE dinner at the Buffs for Christ building, followed by Bible class at 6:45 PM. Come enjoy a meal, study God’s Word, and connect with fellow students!

  • Looking for a smaller group Bible study? Join us every Thursday night for our separate men’s and women’s small-group studies. Come study God’s Word, ask questions, and build meaningful Christian friendships.

  • Want to study the Bible one-on-one? We'd love to study with you! Whether you're new to the Bible, have questions about faith, or simply want to grow deeper in your relationship with God, we offer personal Bible studies for students at West Texas A&M.

  • Join Buffs for Christ students for intramural sports throughout the semester! It's a great way to have fun, build friendships, and get connected with other students outside of Bible study.

Buffs Branding Sunday

  • Start Sunday morning with breakfast and college Bible class at University Church of Christ. Come study God's Word and get connected with other WTAMU students.

  • Join Buffs for Christ for a student-led worship service at University Church of Christ as we gather together to praise God and begin the semester focused on Christ.v

  • Enjoy a FREE lunch following the morning worship service at University Church of Christ. Stick around, grab a meal, and spend time getting to know other students and members of UCC.

  • Join us at University Church of Christ at 6:00 PM for our evening worship service.

  • End the day with a FREE dinner hosted by Buffs for Christ. The dinner location will be announced through the Buffs for Christ GroupMe.

Special Events & Opportunities

  • Get away for a weekend of worship, Bible study, fellowship, and fun! Our Fall Retreat gives Buffs for Christ students an opportunity to grow closer to God and build lasting friendships.

  • Kick off the new school year with Buffs for Christ! Join us for fun, fellowship, and activities designed to help new and returning students make friends and get connected.

  • Buffs for Christ offers opportunities to serve in both domestic and international mission trips, giving students the chance to serve others and share the Gospel. Through these trips, students can teach, encourage, build relationships, and put their faith into action.

  • Throughout the year, Buffs for Christ students participate in local service projects that allow us to bless our campus, community, and neighbors.

  • Each spring, Buffs for Christ students host a special banquet for widows of University Church of Christ. Students serve a meal, share fellowship, and show appreciation to those who have faithfully supported our ministry.
